Our Gummed Paper Tape is a great alternative to standard Packaging Tape. It features reinforced glass fibres, woven into the tape, and when wet forms an incredible seal on boxes as the glue sinks into the cardboard. As well as this the Gummed Paper Tape boasts some great eco-friendly credentials as it’s made from recycled paper and a starch blend. Finally, the paper gummed tape only requires water to activate the incredible adhesion.Â
Gummed Paper Tape is similar to packing tape in the sense that it’s used to seal cartons but differs by being manufactured from recycled paper and starch, and using water to activate the adhesive. The tape isn’t sticky when dry, but adding moisture makes it sticky instantly Our tape is reinforced with glass fibres, making it virtually impossible to remove the tape without tearing the box, making it tamper evident and highly secure.
