Polythene Layflat Tubing is a packaging product that was manufactured for a whole host of different applications. Layflat tubing is made and sold on one continuous roll varying in thickness and sizes. at Pacsafe we offer over 9 different variations in polythene lay flat tubing from as small as 8″ wide up to 36″ wide. aswell as varying thickness medium duty which is 250 gauge or 62.5 micron , up to heavy duty which is 500 gauge of 125 micron.
Layflat tubing can be used for sealing with either cable ties, staples, packaging tape and or a heat sealer. all of which we offer here at Pacsafe. All our polythene lay flat tubing contains over 30% recycled material.
Our heavy duty 500 gauge layflat tubing is generally used for packing heavier/bulkier items that require that extra puncture resistance. Similar to this our most popular option tends to be our medium duty 250 gauge. This type of Polythene Layflat tubing is generally used in industrial environments such as packing areas and warehouses. You can even use lay flat tubing for custom sized poly bags for odd/un even shaped items.
