Clear PVC Tape

Clear PVC Tape is made from a PVC material and features a Solvent based adhesive. PVC Tape Offers a robust and excellent seal against boxes and parcels. It quickly offers a strong, lasting hold and is not affected by temperature. Working extremely well in intense environments, it also accompanies a low noise for a silent release which is particularly useful in busy workplaces. 

What is PVC tape?

PVC tape also known as Vinyl is a heavy duty packaging tape that can be hand teared and can be used for various applications. 

What sizes are available in PVC tape?

Our PVC tape is available in 48mm x 66m rolls, on a 75mm core. PVC tape can be accommodated perfectly with our Standard Tape Dispensers. 

What can PVC tape be used for? 

PVC Tape can be used for many applications. Given its operating temperature of -20°C to +50°C, the uses are endless. 

What is the difference between Polypropylene and PVC Packaging Tape?

The main difference between the 2 is the materials used to create the “backing” of the tape, Polypropylene is harder to tear and often requires a dispenser to cut whereas PVC offers a more premium backing and is easier to tear. Usually Polypropylene accompanies an Acrylic adhesive which is water based and is more of a general purpose tape. Whereas PVC usually features a solvent based adhesive which is more suitable for extreme temperatures, it offers a superb quality that is also low noise and forms an excellent seal.

Yes, our PVC tape similar to our standard Packaging Tape is available in both clear and brown, both giving your parcels that premium look and both are also writeable making it easy to label up if needed.
