Brown PVC Tape is made from a PVC material and features a Solvent based adhesive. PVC Tape Offers a robust and excellent seal against boxes and parcels. It quickly offers a strong, lasting hold and is not affected by temperature. Working extremely well in intense environments, it also accompanies a low noise for a silent release which is particularly useful in busy workplaces.
The main difference between the 2 is the materials used to create the “backing” of the tape, Polypropylene is harder to tear and often requires a dispenser to cut whereas PVC offers a more premium backing and is easier to tear. Usually Polypropylene accompanies an Acrylic adhesive which is water based and is more of a general purpose tape. Whereas PVC usually features a solvent based adhesive which is more suitable for extreme temperatures, it offers a superb quality that is also low noise and forms an excellent seal.
