Our Pacplan Airwave Pillow Film offers air pillows in an environmentally responsible way. Created from 100% recycled co extruded polythene and also our paperwave films are highly developed special films constructed from a recycled paper and starch blend, making It 100% bio-degradable, compostable and is FSC sourced and approved paper. Airwave pillows are suitable for lining, interleaving and void filling packages, suited for many applications whatever industry you are in.

Pillow film is a type of protective packaging that is great for filling empty voids within your box. Helping prevent any movement within the box. 

What is pillow film used for?

Pillow film is used for void filling and cushioning in the box solutions. The new innovative packaging product is made from durable material that holds air in order to provide shock absorption to items that are been transported. 

What type of pillow film do you offer?

We offer a range of pillow film, our polythene pillow film is 100% bio degradable and recyclable after use, this is also the same with our paper pillow film, known as PaperWave, made from a starch composite. Both Pillow Films boast some impressive eco credentials, but you can be rest assured they also maintain their impressive durability.

Is your pillow film environmentally friendly?

Yes! One of our most popular eco-friendly products. Once inflated with one of our compatible machines, the film is made up of only 1% plastic/paper and 99% air! Both plastic and paper films are fully bio degradable too!

What sizes are the pillow films available in?

Our paper wave pillow film is made up of 1 single 150mm x 210mm chamber, on a 300 metre roll. Our plastic film is also made up of 1 single 150mm x 210mm chamber with 700 metres per roll. Both rolls are small in stature and great for space saving!

How do I use pillow film?

In order to use our Pillow Film, it must be accommodated with either of our automatic pillow systems. Our PW1 machine produces pillows and quilts from the same machine and has an output of 8-10 metres per minute! (Thats a lot of pillows). Our PWN4 is our more compact machine but still has 4 high speed modes and can also produce up to 10 metres per minute! Both ideal for packing stations in high pace environments and are mobile and easy to use.
