Reinforced Gummed Paper Tape

Our Reinforced Gummed Paper Tape is a great alternative to standard Packaging Tape. It features reinforced glass fibres, woven into the tape, forming an incredible seal on the carton. Aswell as this the Gummed Paper Tape boasts some great eco credentials. Made from recycled paper and a starch blend. Finally, the tape only requires water to activate the incredible adhesion. 

What is gummed paper tape? Gummed Paper Tape, similar to packing tape in the sense that it’s used to seal Cartons. Gummed Paper Tape however is a tape manufactured from recycled paper and starch. Using water to activate the adhesive. Gummed Paper Tape is an eco-friendly alternative to standard Packing Tapes. 

 What is Gummed Paper Tape used for? Gummed Paper Tape is generally used for fast paced e-commerce environments and fulfilment centres. It requires either a hand held dispenser or automatic machine to work. The machines can be set to required lengths, saving time and money. 

What types of gummed paper tape do you offer? We offer a few different types of gummed paper tapes. Firstly our 2 types are reinforced with glass fibres, making it virtually impossible to remove the tape without tearing the box. Making it tamper evident. Both tapes are available in Kraft brown and come in 2 widths (48mm & 70mm). Both feature a 125gsm paper backing with 100 metres per roll.
